Samuel Johnson said,”The true measure of a man is how he treats people who can do him absolutely no good” It is so easy to ask people to perform and act of kindness when what we should do is ask people to change their behaviour.
There will always be those who are greater or lesser than yourself, it is how you treat those who are lesser than you which is truly important. That person may be a servant, beggar, disabled guy, AIDs victim or more generally, peoples of other cultures, religions and races you may have a prejudice of.
So when you go down the kindness road remember, saying or doing things that those above you will approve of is less important than kindness towards those who least expect it from you.
